ARTIST STATEMENT

Art Statement

My Piece look like the women is looking at something , she have a lot of makeup on , you  can't see her mouth, the most obvious  element is value , the most obvious principle is contrast

To create this piece  by creating a grid , mapping out , and add contrast

My inspiration for this piece was to better and see how i can trying something new and not always trying to do the same thing everyday , the emotion I tried to convey was happy

My goal as an artist was to keep on trying and never just keep moving forward and never give up, I did reach my goal because I kept going didn't keep trying and working really stayed forced on my piece

By creating this piece I learned How to cross hatch on my eyebrow

Overall i do like this piece because I see what i can do and it look great!!!!!!

I will use what I learned  on this piece for future works because so I can show my family what I just learned

WATERCOLOR

ARTIST STATEMENT

My Piece look like a beach on a cloudy day not a public beach but private beach , for what in my piece is the ocean , lots of sand , and little grass , I think the title of my piece is " A day at the Beach " the reason why I said because when I was younger  that is how I use to look at beach , the element I use for my piece is value from dark to light and for the principles I use is balance because you can see that i need to work more of my balancing out my color and I feel like I could of done better than what I did on my piece for this assignment.

For my piece the media I use was watercolor , at first I was nervous because I didn't think I would do great on it as I did for my other pieces , the tool I use for my piece are flat and a round brush , wet on wet , wet on dry really help as well even through i didn't finish my piece

How can I say what inspired me to do this piece, I guess you can say when I saw the beach brought back memories when I was at the beach it was great moment of my life , no I don't have a personal or social of any kind because I don't see my piece as that , the emotion I can show through out my piece is peaceful, smooth , and calm .

My goal for my piece is to be more faster not too fast but to were I can finish , need to work on balancing more , making more contrast, wanted more realism to my piece on reaching my goal , yes this piece did help me reach my goal by skill for my piece

The skills that I learn was wet on wet , wet on dry , flat brush , round brush , what I imagined  was it would better than I did on, I know next time to be more focus on than what i was on it during the time when i was work on it .

LIGHT

ARTIST STATEMENT

This Piece are lamps one  is standing up, the other is bending over cross from it , the element I was using was line , texture value , and the principles was contrast  , line quality , the reason why I called this piece because when the lamps come on it show brightest in the dark room .

What I use to make this piece was a sharper , pencil ,  a 4 square sheet to help me with it to see how I wanted to look like when i done, light table , everything that I use for my piece.

Myself because when I saw this piece I thought I wasn't going to do good on this piece but it turn out pretty well then I through, my piece didn't really show personal and social issues but if it did think it would be light because so many people can go in that really dark inside themselves and when you need to share a little light with that person.

My goal is to do better so I show other and teach do in the near future , I think don't this piece I chose really help me reach my goal because I don't think I really did a great job on it .

I learned new texture and more cross contour , and lines , no it not what i really image as my final piece but i know to try hard , I know not to rush next time and to follow my line .

Nobody really inspired i just chose a  picture that I through was pretty , my price didn't have a personal or social issue it just a sunset , for the emotions I try my hardness to make this price prefect .

For my goal are to keep trying hardness an not to give up even I feel like I can't do it , yes it did help reach my goal because I didn't give up I keep moving forward even through there was someday i felt like giving up i didn't my price turned out to be really pretty .

I learn that when I start to my oil pastel to ease my pencil line , I didn't think my price would of turn out  but I'm glad it did because it look great , it influence on how I knew I can do I just need to try harder and keep going and not give up on it go though with it to the end .

My goals are the same as always I just want to try my best and see what I can do , I don't think I really reach my goal on this piece because I feel like I couldn't get everything right when I was doing this piece .

I learned when I was finished with my piece one of my classmate told about piece they told me my tree in my lake told my tree need to be darker in the water and line up my tree when reflect , no this not what imagined I thought it would be better , I know next time to look at the picture more than thinking what there.

ARTIST   STATEMENT

My piece look like a person is holding a can up in the sky and observe it to see the date on it , the subject is foreshortening , the piece that I'm working on don't have a title but if it did I would name it "The Can" , the element that I use on my piece are color , and the principles that I use are contrast and balance , I would say no I'm not most obvious in my work because I feel like I didn't do my best on the this piece .

The media I use on my piece is oil pastels  , the tools I use are the same oil pastel , the techniques I use were light pressure and heavy pressure , as you can see I did use oil pastel on my last piece I just wanted to try again and see how did .

No one really inspired me to do this piece , my piece is really not for a personal or for social issue , my piece didn't have no emotional  , all I did was tired to draw a can .

My goal as an artist are to try more media to see which work best for my next piece , not really because I didn't have a goals for this piece but if I did would be the same as always " finish my piece " .

I learn to try more media for my piece not just that one that I c\think that is going to be good , this is not how imagined my piece I through it would be better than I though it would be better , I think it would influence on my piece that I need to try more media for next piece
